Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interconnect between IP terminals within an IP network, between the IP terminals and terminals contained in the other network and between the IP terminals and the terminals contained in the other network with one another after performing authentication by means of third party's call control, to make it possible to impose accounting upon a call requester at the time of termination of telephone conversation in a communication system in an IP network connected to one another within the IP network or the other network via a gateway.
SOLUTION: When having selected and determined a party receiving an incoming call , an operator uses digest authentication of HTTP and authenticates an operating terminal and an actual transmitting terminal between servers within the communication system to thus transmit, from an IP call control device to a terminal which has requested a call and a call-in terminal, buttons on a screen that an application has created or is present on WWW. The operator enables telephone conversation by directing the IP call control device when the telephone call has been established to couple the two calls into one. Then, contents identifiable by the IP call control device are set in information on the accounting for the call requester at the time of termination of the telephone conversation so as to impose the accounting upon the call requester at the time of termination of the telephone conversation, thus allowing accounting management to be performed by using an existing accounting system.
