Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that can restore a device ID when the device ID is changed by abnormality of a device for reproducing contents data controlled on the basis of the device ID.
SOLUTION: A reproducing means in a general-purpose computer 1 reproduce the contents data only when the device ID being included in the contents data and that of the reproducing device are matched. When the device ID has been changed, a restoration program for changing it to an original device ID is downloaded from a restoration program generation server 2 to perform restoration of the device ID.
