To provide communication terminal equipment in which an abbreviated dial and a one-action dial are registered easily in comparison with the prior art by linking voice guidance and display guidance.

When a user desires the registration of an abbreviated dial or a one-action dial, the procedure of operation therefor is outputted in voice from a voice guidance unit 30 and displayed out on an LCD panel 10d. In such a case, the display output on the LCD panel 10d is changed in accordance with a voice output from the voice guidance unit 30. The user performs operation required for registering the abbreviated dial or the one-action dial through a cursor key 10a, a ten key 10b and a software key displayed on a touch screen 10e while receiving the voice guidance from the voice guidance unit 30 and display guidance on the LCD panel 10d.
