Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition capable of inhibiting the light-induced peroxydation of an unsaturated lipid, in particular, a lipid of sebaceous origin.
SOLUTION: The composition contains at least one kind of tocopherol and at least one of photocatalytic metal oxides. A metal-inactivating complexing agent can be contained therein. The composition can be used as a cosmetic and/or dermatological composition. The composition can also be used for preservation of another product.
