Abstract:
To provide compositions and methods for detecting Zika virus nucleic acid.SOLUTION: Disclosed are nucleic acid oligomers, including amplification oligomers, capture probes, and detection probes, for detection of Zika virus nucleic acid. Also disclosed are methods of specific nucleic acid amplification and detection using the disclosed oligomers, as well as corresponding reaction mixtures and kits. The method comprises: performing nucleic acid amplification of Zika virus target nucleic acid; and for example, detecting an amplification product by specifically hybridizing the amplification product with a nucleic acid detection probe that provides a signal indicating the presence of Zika virus in the sample.SELECTED DRAWING: None
