Abstract:
To provide compositions for improving bone health, which comprises functional fermentation products using oysters, containing a large amount of taurine and vitamins derived from oysters, seaweed-derived natural GABA and seaweed oligosaccharides, and having excellent effects on prevention and suppression of osteoporosis.SOLUTION: The composition for improving bone health including functional fermentation products using oysters of the invention comprises a ferment extract prepared by extracting a fermentation product prepared by fermenting oyster and a seaweed Hizikia fusiformis with a mixture of specific fermentation microorganisms, that is, Lactobacillus fermentum JS and Aspergillus usami. The ferment extract can inhibit the activity of osteoclasts and promote the activity of osteoblasts thereby promoting bone formation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
