To provide a highly efficient compressor and a refrigerating cycle apparatus with the same, wherein in a conventional compressor structure, since a motor and a mechanical section of a compressor are disposed in one and the same closed container, the motor is exposed to high temperature coolant and heated, and the efficiency of the motor is lowered, and wherein, during an operation of the compressor, the coolant circulating in the refrigerating cycle conveys additional heat of the motor generated by the heat generation of a motor coil, and the efficiency of the refrigerating cycle is lowered.
A compressor chamber is divided into a closed chamber which is filled with high temperature and pressure coolant and in which a rotor of an axial gap motor is disposed and an open chamber in which a stator of the axial gap motor is disposed. A magnetic induction plate for separating them from each other is provided.
