PURPOSE: To provide a computer network including an object passing agent(OPA) where mutual access rights of individual nodes which execute preliminarily determined functions are stored.
CONSTITUTION: A stored access right is changed by calls (passing and returned). The access right is confirmed by support of another call (inquire). Desired access rights are defined in interface descriptions of individual nodes by a user. These descriptions are used by a compiler to generate these calls which change or confirm the access rights. The access right for a function (passing) is stored in an OPA 25 so that a node can access the function of another node. Each access is confirmed (inquire) before execution. After completion of the access, the access right in the OPA 25 is deleted (returned). These calls are automatically processed to ensure the easy execution of node access operations.
