Abstract:

To provide a new compound utilizable as an organic n-type semiconductor having excellent electron transport property.

The conjugated compound has two or more groups represented by general formula (I) or groups represented by general formula (II). In the formulas, one of Ar and Ar' is a 6C divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group, and the other is a 4C divalent heterocyclic group (these groups may have substituents, but a fluorine atom is absent in the whole group); R1 and R2 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a monovalent group; Ar" is a trivalent aromatic hydrocarbon group or a trivalent heterocyclic group; with the proviso that when the conjugated compound has two or more groups represented by general formula (I), the part except the groups is free from a fluorine atom.
