Title:
CONNECTING SCREW HOLDING BELT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09177744
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve holding force, centripetal performance, and straight advancing performance in driving of a screw by constituting a screw insertion hole from a belt flat plate part in the screw driving direction by means of a cylindrical holding part having the specified length, making the sectional forms of the inner and outer peripheral surfaces into the dissimilar shapes, and changing the wall thickness of the holding part in the circumferential direction.

A holding belt 10 is made of soft synthetic resin and formed into a belt shape, and screw insertion holes 20 for holding screws are provided in a line on a flat plate part 12 at the specified distances. Each screw insertion hole 20 is formed of a cylindrical holding part 21 having the specified length in the screw driving direction, upper and lower opening parts 22, 23 have the regular octagonal shapes, the inner periphery of the holding part 21 is formed of eighth inclined surfaces 24, and the outer peripheral surface is composed of four inclined surfaces. Radial hole parts 30 are positioned in the center parts on every other side of the upper opening part 22, the thickness of the peripheral wall of the holding part 21 is increased downward at the hole part 30, and the holding part 21 is thin between the hole parts 30. When a screw 15 is driven to a member to be fastened and the screw is completely passed through the holding part 21, a break part R is broken. Since the break part R is thick, holding force, centripetal performance, and straight advancing performance in driving of the screw can be improved.
