Abstract:
PURPOSE: To positively connect components by fitting the respective connectors of a rail side coupling and an automatic device side coupling by drive mechanism through a positioning device in conveying mechanism of a loom or the like. CONSTITUTION: When an automatic device 3 travels along a rail 2 and is stopped above a loom 4 by a positioning element 6, a rail side coupling 7 is lowered by a pressure cylinder 37 of drive mechanism 14, and connectors 19, 20 are protruded from a connecting plate 32 and fitted to connectors 21, 22 of a coupling 8 on the automatic device side. At this time, if the position is slightly dislocted, this dislocation is corrected by the inclined face of positioning mechanism 15, and if inclined dislocation is generated, an elastic device 18 is elastically deformed according to fitting of the connectors 20, 22 so as to correct the attitude of the coupling 7 in conformity to the coupling 8. Required connection of switches or the like can therefore be made positively.
