Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the contact electrode of a connection clamp which can efficiently cut a cable or cover material of the cable and connect it to a conductor without fail, by optimizing the shape of an edge including the arrangement of a cutting edge, and also is hard to be damaged and is superior in durability.
SOLUTION: A plurality of edge grooves 12 are made into specified arrangement on the side of on end, and the cutting edges 16 where the groove flanks of the edge grooves 12 become rake faces 41 are arranged substantially radially, and also the rake angle of the rake face 14 is negative, and the tip of the blade is thickened, so that the strength of the edge tip in the direction where the composite load of each reaction to pressing force or torque adds can be raised in rotating the contact electrode 1 in reverse to the cutting direction, while securing the cutting capacity to the cable or the cover material of the cable, so that even if the composite load adds to it, the damage of the edge top is hard to occur, and durability can be improved.
