Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new titled container useful for packaging and distributing chewing gum provided with a housing provided with peak part, bottom part and side part means, a hinge fastening means arranged at the opening of the side part, a locking means and a cutting means on the other side of the opening. CONSTITUTION: The wound chewing gum of 6 feet is put into the housing provided with the peak part means 15, the bottom part means 17 and the side part means 19, the tip edge 14 of the chewing gum is pulled out from the opening 31 of a side wall 19 and the hinge fastening member 27 is connected to the side wall 19 by a hinge arranged at the opening 31. At the time of closing the hinge fastening member 27, a function for bending the gum is performed by a tab 33 present inside the housing and the gum is prevented from being slid inside the housing. An anvil surface 37 is provided by the hinge fastening member 27 and the gum is cut by opening the hinge fastening member 27, that is by swinging the hinge fastening member 27 so as to be separated from the side wall 19. Then, the gum is pulled out from a knife edge 35 and the hinge fastening member 27 is closed, that is swung to the side wall 19, to the length of cutting the gum. A target product is obtained by repeating it.
