Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a control device for an air conditioner in which the type of an air conditioner being applied for operation can be easily identified, its service characteristic and maintenance or repairing characteristic can be improved, contributing to a standardization of an indoor device.
CONSTITUTION: An indoor device 7 is provided with a first transmitting mechanism 10 for performing a signal transmitting operation in respect to an outdoor device 12, and a second transmitting mechanism 9 for performing a signal transmittance in respect to a remote controller 1. The remote controller 1 is comprised of a transmitting mechanism 6 for performing a signal transmitance in respect to the second signal transmitting mechanism 9 in the indoor device 7, a display device 3 connected the signal transmitting mechanism 6 and a setting device 5 for displaying and setting the type of the air conditioner so as to identify the type of the air conditioner.
