Abstract:
To obtain a control device which enables proper improvement of safety of a leaning vehicle, and to obtain a control method.SOLUTION: In a control device (60) and a control method according to the invention, a control unit of the control device (60) can conduct a brake operation for increasing a brake force of a leaning vehicle (100) according to a possibility of a collision acquired based on an output result of an environment sensor (44), which is conducted under a situation that a brake operation is conducted by a rider of the leaning vehicle (100). Further, a setting part of the control device (60) sets distribution of the brake force between a front wheel (3) and a rear wheel (4) of the leaning vehicle (100) in the brake operation. The control unit controls the brake forces of the front wheel (3) and the rear wheel (4) based on setting of the distribution of the brake force by the setting part in the brake operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
