Title:
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR TRANSISTOR CHOPPER CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5546875
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the inbalance in voltages applied to a plurality of transistors, by sequentially turning off the transistors from the lower potential side of plural DC power sources connected in series with the transistors when turning off a chopper comprising the transistors. CONSTITUTION:A reactor 2, a DC motor 3 and transistors 4-7 are coupled in series with batteries 1a-1d. Diodes 8-11 are connected between the collectors of the transistors and the anodes of the batteries so that the anodes of the diodes are coupled to the collectors of the transistors. To turn on the transistors, currents are simultaneously applied to the bases of the transistors. To turn off the transistors, their base currents are equentially cut off from the lower potential side of the power sources as from the transistor 7 toward another 4. As a result, the voltages applied to the series-coupled transistors are prevented from being unbalanced to one another. Therefore, the reliability is raised.
