Abstract:
To provide a copolymer latex composition which is improved in the pick strength and wet-pick strength of enamel paper when used for the enamel paper, and excellent in separation performance in a process for reusing the enamel paper.
The copolymer latex composition includes: (α) 100 pts.mass of copolymer latex (solid content conversion) obtained by emulsion-polymerizing a monomer mixture composed of (a) 30 to 60 mass% of a conjugate diene monomer, (b) 0.5 to 7 mass% of an ethylene unsaturated calboxylic acid monomer, and (c) 33 to 69.5 mass% of the other copolymerizable monomer (however, the sum of (a), (b) and (c) is 100 mass%); (β) 0.003 to 0.1 pts.mass of a halocyanoacetamide compound; and (γ) 0.01 to 0.8 pts.mass of an alcohol compound.
