PURPOSE: To permit a speedy and easy, automated installation and an improvement in productivity by closely winding a cord from a bottom side to a peripheral surface of a tread portion by a deformation due to expansion and moving of a hoist bladder and by performing a fixing of a center core at the top edge of the cord with a mechanical means.

CONSTITUTION: Inner and outer cylinders 42 and 43 are lowered from a top force 31 and side wall portions 35 and 36 are separated from a tread portion 34, and holding portions 40 and 41 are advanced immediately under a center core mold 33. A tire cord 52 are turned with turning arms 50 and 57 to immediately underneath the center core mold 33 with inner cylinder 42 which is set with handling operation together with the outer cylinder 43, and the upper edge 52a of the tire cord 52 which is held on a hoist bladder 44 of the inner cylinder 42 side is inserted into the inside of the holding portion 41 by lowering of the bottom side wall portion 36 and the portion 36 is lifted. The edge surfaces 34b and 36a are closely abutted, and the upper edge 52a of the cord 52 is fixed on the holding portion 41. Without necessity of shaping due to handling, a speedy and efficient processing is feasible.
