To improve the accuracy of a calculated correlation value in a correlation circuit for calculating the correlation value of an analog signal value and a digital signal value.
In this correlation circuit, a multiplication circuit 1 multiplies inputted analog signal value and digital signal value, plural sample-and-hold circuits S1-Sn successively sample and hold multiplied results outputted from the multiplication circuit 1 corresponding to prescribed timing signals t1-tn and then output sampled and held signal values corresponding to the prescribed timing signal td and an addition circuit 2 analog-adds the signal values outputted from the plural sample-and-hold circuits S1-Sn and calculates the correlation value. In the constitution, since errors peculiar to an analog circuit generated in the sample-and-hold circuits are not accumulated for instance, the accuracy of the correlation value is improved. Also, as the other constitution, by constituting the correlation circuit for calculating the correlation value without being provided with the multiplication circuit, the circuit is miniaturized.
