Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion sensor that can precisely and simply estimate a timing when an iron member becomes corroded.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a corrosion sensor 120 estimating corrosion of iron members provided in hardened cement. The sensor 120 includes an inner iron member 125, an outer iron member 121 surrounding but not contacting with the inner member 125, a filling part 123 formed of hardened cement filled between the inner and outer iron members 125 and 121. The corrosion sensor 120 is arranged in hardened cement and continuously monitors a current flowing between the inner and outer iron members. Corrosion of an iron member can be easily estimated only by arranging the corrosion sensor 120 with a compact size into hardened cement.
