Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mascara in which not only waxes but also the pigments are dispersed uniformly, the mascara having a texture that is thick enough to form a charging, volumizing deposit on eyelashes, and having a satisfactory consistency allowing easy application to the eyelashes, smoothness and uniform deposition.SOLUTION: A cosmetic eyelash coating composition contains an aqueous phase and an emulsifying system. The emulsifying system contains the following components: at least one C-Calkyl phosphate; and at least one C-Cfatty alkyl ether of polyethylene glycol. The ether comprises 1 to 19 ethylene glycol units and has an HLB less than 8 at 25°C.
