Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover, an actuator, a continuously variable transmission, and a vehicle, capable of reducing change in detection characteristic of a sensor due to heat by suppressing thermal deformation to an axial direction with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A cover includes a cover body 40 covering an opening portion of an actuator housing 13 in which a ball screw shaft 12 axially displaced, is accommodated, and a sensor accommodating portion 31 having a peripheral wall 131A vertically disposed on an outer face 40A of the cover body 40 and a top wall 131B, and provided with a sensor 19 for detecting a displacement amount of the ball screw shaft 12 in a space 131C surrounded by the peripheral wall 131A and the top wall 131B. A resin material including glass fiber F is injected from a gate position G in adjacent to the top wall 131B of the sensor accommodating portion 31, and the glass fiber F on the peripheral wall 131A is oriented in the axial direction.
