PURPOSE: To obtain the deodorizing composition, which is simply treated and has the high quantity of the adsorption holding of stablized chlorin dioxide, by adsorbing a specified rate of a stabilized chlorin dioxide solution to spherical active alumina gel, iron content thereof is specified.

CONSTITUTION: The deodorizing composition is manufactured in such a manner that the 10W70pts.wt. stabilized chlorin dioxide solution is adsorbed to the 100pts.wt. spherical active alumina gel or spherical active alumina-silica gel, iron content thereof is 0.3wt% or lower as Fe2O3. With the spherical active alumina gel, etc. used, porosity is approximately 0.4W0.7, and diameters are 1W15mm. the concentration of the stabilized chlorin dioxide solution is normally approximately 1,000W50,000ppm. The deodorizing composition obtained is spherical, has the large strength of approximately 30W70kg, causes no clogging owing to crush and can be used continuously in an air current.
