Abstract:

To provide a deodorizing soap exerting deodorizing power against four major odor substances, i.e. ammonia, trimethylamine, methyl mercaptan and hydrogen sulfide.

The highly effective deodorizing soap comprises a mixture of chlorophyllin and persimmon tannin and evenly exerts strong deodorizing effect against odors caused by single and pluralities of sources. Chlorophyllin is strongly effective against methyl mercaptan and hydrogen sulfide, which are acidic gases, whereas persimmon tannin is strongly effective against ammonia and trimethylamine, which are alkaline gases.
