Abstract:
To achieve reduction in an installation space of a device for monitoring the deposition shape of blast furnace burden, and to reduce an enormous installation cost that is necessary for the installation of the device, including the opening of the furnace body and environmental resistance measures.SOLUTION: A deposition shape measurement device for blast furnace burden 1 is equipped with an electronically scanned microwave rangefinder 2 arranged at the top 11 of the blast furnace. The microwave rangefinder 2 has a configuration that can be raised and lowered between a sounding position and a profile measurement position and that can perform sounding of the blast furnace burden at the sounding position and profile measurement of the blast furnace burden at the profile measurement position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
