Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect the rotation of a minute angle by detecting the rotation of a recognized angular object corresponding to the difference in the degree of disagreement between rotations in the right and left directions calculated by a difference calculating means of the degree of disagreement. CONSTITUTION:An image signal of an angular object obtained through scanning by a television camera 1 is converted to digital values by an A/D converter 2, compared with a reference value at a comparison circuit 3, and converted to binary density signals. The signals are stored in a frame memory 4. A CPU 7 makes an operation in accordance with a predetermined formula for each pixel stored in the memory 4 and a dictionary memory 5. Accordingly, the difference in the degree of disagreement between rotations in the right and left directions is determined, and the right and left rotations are displayed at an output terminal. In this manner, the rotation of a very small angle can be detected.
