Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sticking of toner between a developing roll and feeding roll feeding toner to a developing roll when developing is carried out with the one component toner by utilizing the developing roll.
SOLUTION: In this device, the feeding roll 43 that is rotated and driven in a pressurized contact to feed the toner to the developing roll 41 carrying and transporting the one component toner to the photoreceptor carrying an electrostatic latent image is provided. In this case, in order to carry out feeding to the developing roll 41 well, bias voltage is fed between the developing roll 41 and the feeding roll 42 so that an electric field works in a direction of attracting the toner to the developing roll side, bias voltage Vc that is fed to a restricting roll before a specified time when developing is completed is switched and controlled so that an electric field works in a direction where the toner is attracted to the feeding roll 42 side. Thus, the toner existing between the developing roll 41 and the feeding roll 43 after the developing is eliminated and the sticking of the toner generated in the part is prevented after the developing roll 41 is stopped.
