Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automate attachment and detachment of a bearing irrespective of the size of the bearing by clamping and elevating/lowering the bearing by a clamping means whose clamping members are extendable and contractile in accordance with the size of the bearing mounted on a chock.
CONSTITUTION: The position of the bearing 13 is confirmed with a CCD camera 29 and extendable/contractile clamping means 15 is positioned in a prescribed position with a control part 38. The clamping members 14 of the clamping means 15 are inserted into the bearing 13 and an operating rod 55 is lifted with a hydraulic cylinder 45. Operating links 57 are downward turned, a parallelogrammatic link structure 52 is outward expanded and the clamping members 14 are brought into pressing contact with the inside face of the bearing 13. The rod 42a is pulled in and the lower part of the bearing 13 is caught by the pawl part 14a in the lower part of the clamping member 14. When the rod 42a is further pulled in as vibrating the clamping means 15 with a vibrating device 56, the bearing 13 is drawn out of the inside of the chock 12 by the pawl part 14a.
