PURPOSE: To prevent the driver of a vehicle from wrongly discriminating that a closure mechanism is abnormal when an electric motor is stopped due to abrupt opening of a door while the door is being closed by making a controlling means to surely actuate the closure mechanism and cause the mechanism to make the closing operation again.
CONSTITUTION: This device 12 for controlling full lock of vehicle doors is formed of a door locking mechanism 14, closure mechanism 20 which transmits the driving force of an electric motor 16 to the mechanism 14 through a cable 18, controller 22 which actuates and controls the mechanism 20, a power supply controlling section 24 connected with a battery 10, power supply terminal mechanism 26, power supply switch 28, etc. The controller 22 stops the motor 16 when it is tried to open a door 8 while the door 8 is being closed by driving the motor 16 in the normal rotating direction. The controller 22 returns the door 8 to the previous position by rotating the motor 16 in the opposite direction when it is tried to manually close the door 8 and, when the door 8 returns to the previous position, again drives the motor 16 in the normal direction so as to close the door 8.
