PURPOSE: A device for holding a member extending in a longitudinal direction on a backbone at a suitable position.
CONSTITUTION: A device for holding a member extending in a longitudinal direction on a backbone at a suitable position has a hook assembly 20 of top hole type having a hook part 22 engageable with a backbone. A main body extending upward from the hook part 22 extends via the main body and is equipped with a recess 32 opened at the end opening along one side part to allow a rod or a longitudinal part to move through the opened side part into the recess 32. An end cap 24 is engaged with the main body 26, to close an upper end hole 40. A clamp member or a screw 60 is arranged in a center of the end cap, to clamp the rod within the recess 32 of the main body 26. The end cap and the main body 26 can be connected to each other by different type of connectors including a bayonet connector 64, a linear cam connector, or a screw connector.
