Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sample the adjusted muddy water with a uniform specific gravity and particle size distribution by circulating the slurry matter obtained by adding stabilizing liquid or water to the sediment, into which foreign matter such as solidification material, concrete waste, or the like is mixed, in a circulating path so as to remove the foreign matter.
SOLUTION: A slurry matter obtained by adding water to a waste soil in which foreign matter is mixed is circulated through a circulating path 10 by a circulating pump 11. In the circulating path 10, a turbulent flow part 15 provided with multiple projected parts on the bottom surface, a restricted path part 16 to partially increase a velocity, a deep part 17 to decrease the velocity, and a wall body 18 installed erectedly at the end part of the deep part 17 are arranged along the circulating direction. Also an adjusted muddy water B is taken into sampling tanks 13a, 13b, and 13c provided at relatively stable parts of flow behind the wall body 18 through sampling pipes 20. Because the adjusted muddy water B is larger in specific gravity as it goes further to the bottom of it, the gravity of the adjusted muddy water to be collected can be adjusted by changing the height of the sampling pipes 20. Thus foreign matter can be removed from the waste soil so as to provide the adjusted muddy water with a specified specific gravity.
