To provide a diaphragm pump with a diaphragm main body integrally formed for downsizing with a diaphragm part forming a pump chamber, and a suction valve having a thin valve part on a plate-like part connecting diaphragm parts of the diaphragm main body together, whereby noise occurring when the suction valve opens and closes is restrained.

The thin valve part and the suction valve having an opening on the valve part and the periphery thereof is provided on the plate-like part which connects the diaphragm parts of the diaphragm main body together. Occurrence of noise upon opening/closing of the valve is reduced by providing a recess on the surface of the suction opening closing side of the valve part of the suction valve.
