Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric ceramics compsn. capable of firing together with Ag and capable of ensuring further reduced size and enhanced performance of a high-frequency electronic circuit board and electronic parts each having a high relative dielectric constant and a high Q value in a high-frequency region.
SOLUTION: In this dielectric ceramics compsn., a 1st crystal phase consisting of Mg, Ti and O and a 2nd crystal phase consisting of Mg, Ti, B and O exist, the 1st and 2nd crystal phases account for ≥95vol.% of the amt. of this compsn. and the amts, of the 1st and 2nd phase are 25-95vol.% and 5-75vol.%, respectively, of the total amt. of the phases. The ratio (I104/I201) of the intensity I104 of the principal crystal phase (104 face) of MgTiO3 to the intensity I201 of the principal crystal phase (201 face) of (Mg,Ti)2(BO3)O in X-ray diffraction is 0.2-2.5.
