Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost device capable of recording and reproducing simply transmitted moving pictures with sound when a video or audio signal is sent by remote control through a cellular phone with a camera, away from home to home to be recorded at home.
SOLUTION: The device is provided with a built-in cellular phone transmit/ receive part 10 receiving digital video and audio signals compressed according to a first compression method transmitted from a cellular phone with a camera 1, a first data expanding part 13 expanding the received digital video and audio signals compressed by the first compression method, a second data compressing part 14 compressing the digital video and audio signals by a second compression method, a recording and reproducing part 15 recording and reproducing the digital video and audio signals compressed according to the second compression method, and a second data expanding part 17 expanding the reproduced digital video and audio signals compressed by the second compression method.
