Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of suppressing change in display color due to leakage of light emitted by a light source to other division regions.SOLUTION: A display device according to the present invention comprises: light emission means having a plurality of light sources corresponding to a plurality of division regions; display means of displaying an image on a screen by transmitting light from the light emission means with transmissivity based upon input image data; determination means of determining light emission luminances of the respective light sources individually on the basis of the input image data; first storage means of storing color change information representing change in color of the light from the light source in an in-plane direction; second storage means of storing luminance change information representing change in luminance of the light from the light source in the in-plane direction; and color correction means of performing color correction processing for correcting at least one of a color of each pixel of the image data and a light emission color of each light source on the basis of the light emission luminance of each pixel of the image data determined by the determination means, and the color change information and luminance change information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
