Abstract:
To provide a door latch device that can improve operability when opening a door by releasing a swinging restriction of a link by a restriction portion.SOLUTION: A door latch device 10 includes a regulation portion 35 that locks a spring member 33 to regulate a swing movement of a link 31 toward the unlock position by a spring member 33 when the link 31 swings toward the lock position against the biasing force of the spring member 33 by the action of the inertial force equal to or larger than a set value. The link 31 has a regulation release portion 38 that releases the regulation of the swing movement of the link 31 by moving at least part of the spring member 33 to release the locking with the regulation portion 35 when the swing movement is regulated by the regulation portion 35 and the link is moved from the retreat position to the advance position by receiving the rotational force of an open lever 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
