PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening and closing device for a vehicle constituted in such a way that an inner cable whose one end is connected with a rotor so as to perform twist operation in accordance with turn of the rotor and whose other end is connected with a key operation input shaft is inserted into an outer casing whose both ends are connected with a cylinder lock and a door lock mechanism to make improper operation of the key operation input shaft difficult even if a connection condition in which the outer casing is connected with the door lock mechanism is unexpectedly released.
SOLUTION: In a casing 66 provided in the door lock mechanism 22, a fitting cylindrical part 129 for fitting a fitting cylindrical part 140c provided in an end part on a door lock mechanism 22 side of the outer casing 50 and connecting it with the casing 66 is integrally provided by letting an end part of the key operation input shaft 90 face an inner end, and an insertion prevention member 160 capable of being displaced so as to plunge into the fitting cylindrical part 129 in accordance with separation and disengagement of the fitting cylindrical part 140c from the fitting cylindrical part 129 is attached.
