To simplify the structure by sensing the opening of two doors using one push-button switch and one switch operating cam, and to easily repair any failure by providing the push-button switch and a switch operating cam on each door of a refrigerator.
In a refrigerator, when both a door 13 of a refrigerator and a door 14 of a freezer are closed, a switch button 21 in a push-button switch embedded in the door 13 is pressed by a switch operating cam against the elasticity of an elastic member 31, and the loop including a fan motor 33 is turned on by bringing a first movable contact member 27 with first fixed contact members 29a, 29b. When either of the doors 13, 14 opened, the switch operating cam is detached from the switch button 21, the switch button 21 is pressed toward the projection side by the elasticity of the elastic member 31, and the loop including the fan motor 33 is turned off, a second movable contact member 28 is brought into contact with second fixed members 30a, 30b, and the loop including an in-chamber lamp 34 is turned on. Because the opening of two doors can be simultaneously detected by using one push-button switch and one switch operating cam, the structure of the switch system simplified.
