Abstract:

To provide a dust sucking brush for electric vacuum cleaner, which can prevent sucking-in of small objects other than usual dust, fluff, yarn waste, etc., and can execute the cleaning operation simply even in a narrow place.

A dust suck-off brush has a brush element connected with the suction hose of an electric vacuum cleaner through a coupling pipe, wherein the suction hose side of one end of the coupling pipe 11 is formed cylindrical while the pipe 11 is bent in approx. a chevron shape as going nearer the brush element part at the other end and is formed into a flat cylinder, and the brush part 12 is coupled removably with the other end of the pipe 11 and is formed into flat cylinder having an air passage 17. A dust sucking port 18 is opened in one side face of the flat cylinder at the end of the air passage 17, and brush 19 is implanted at the periphery of the outside of the dust sucking port 18, and a plurality of partitioning plates 20 directed along the air passage 17 are installed protrusively on the inner side face portion confronting the dust sucking port 18.
