Title:
EASY VOLATILIZATION OF METALS OF ZINC, LEAD, CADMIUM AND THE LIKE FROM SULFIDE RAW MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3433973
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To generate, recover and produce easily volatilizing metals in good yield and at high content by vaporizing the volatilizing non-ferrous metals while utilizing a distilation column.
CONSTITUTION: In a heating metallurgical treating method of producing zinc, cadmium and lead from sulfide raw material, the zinc sulfide concn. is supplied into molten copper at about 1,450-1,800°C under the atmospheric pressure and zinc, lead and cadmium are vaporized. Iron and copper are made remain in the molten metal or sulfide matte generated in a furnace to produce the zinc, lead and cadmium.
