Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize power consumption when keeping warm.
SOLUTION: An electric hot water reserving container provided with a heat insulation heating mean for heating an inner container, a hot water temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of hot water in the inner container, and a heat insulation control means for ON/OFF controlling the heat insulation heating means so that temperature of the hot water within the inner container detected by the hot water temperature detection means is within the range of a prescribed temperature is provided with a power consumption switching means for reducing power consumption when keeping warm. When the temperature of the hot water within the inner container detected by the hot water temperature detection means is not lower than the upper limit value of the prescribed temperature range in the state of keeping warm where this power consumption switching means is operated, until the temperature of the hot water is lowered to a value estimated to be the lower limit value of the prescribed temperature range, the heat insulation heating means is kept to be OFF and the hot water temperature detection means is turned OFF to stop fetching of hot water temperature detection data to the heat insulation control means.
