Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make maintenance easy by monitoring the overflow of an electrolyte from the upper port of an electrolyte chamber, and automatically switching a passage with a switching valve when an overflow electrolyte level exceeds a set level. CONSTITUTION:When operation starts, the second valve unit 9 supplies an electrolyte delivered from a pump 6 to the lower port of an electrolyte chamber 2, and supplies the return electrolyte from the upper port to an electrolyte tank 4. Part of the electrolyte is returned to the tank 4 through a throttle 12 and the other part of electrolyte through an overflow tank 10. When the electrolyte chamber 2 is filled with the electrolyte, it starts to return to the tank 4. However, by the differential pressure produced before and after the throttle 12, part of the electrolyte is fed to the tank 10. The first valve unit 8 has an electrolyte level detecting means 11 for detecting the liquid level in the tank 10, and operates when the liquid level reaches a set value to cut off the liquid flow from the upper port of the tank 10 to the electrolyte tank 4. In response to the operation of the unit 8, the unit 9 supplies the electrolyte delivered from the pump 6 to the upper port of the electrolyte chamber 2 and returns the electrolyte from the lower port to the tank 4.
