To provide an electrolytic production apparatus suitable for the industrial-scale production of an organic metal compound typified by trimethylgallium.
The electrolytic production apparatus 100 for producing an organic metal compound through an electrolytic reaction between a metal and an electrolytic solution containing an organic compound includes: an electrolysis vessel 10 which is equipped with an anode 50 and a cathode 60 and to which the metal is introduced in the form of a molten metal having a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the metal and the electrolytic solution is supplied; and a storage vessel 20 in which the electrolytic solution is stored. The anode 50 and the cathode 60 are so arranged as to be in contact with the molten metal and the electrolytic solution, respectively, in the inside of the electrolysis vessel 10, and the electrolytic solution is circulated between the electrolysis vessel 10 and the storage vessel 20.
