Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture electron emitting electrodes composed of a perovskite type composite oxide by a simple manufacturing method.
CONSTITUTION: Electron emitting electrodes 26 are formed in such a structure that an La0.7,=Sr0.3MnO3 thin film 26b is formed on an Ni board 26a. In this case, the La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 thin film 26b is composed of a material having a structure of the oxygen element defective nonstoichiometric ratio, but has an excellent electron emitting characteristic. Therefore, oxygen defection may be exist, and the La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 thin film 26b can be simply manufacture on the Ni board 26a by a thermal decomposition method, and reproducibility and mass productivity can be improved.
