Abstract:

To improve communication performance in file transfer.

A CPU 46p provided in an RF module 46 detects an other device ID, which is transmitted through a Bluetooth (R) communication, in a state where a main power supply switch SW 48 is turned off; and if the detected other device ID is already registered in a register 50, the CPU turns the main power supply switch 48 on. A camera CPU 22 that is thus started detects a file transfer request that is transmitted through a WiFi communication; and transfers, in response to the detected file transfer request, an image file stored in a recording medium to a request source.
