CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive layer contg. the stilbene/hydrazone compd. expressed by the formula I or the formula II is provided. In the formula, Ar denotes an arom. carbon cyclic group or arm. heterocyclic group; R1, R2 denote an alkyl group, aralkyl group or aryl group; R3 denotes a hydrogen atom., halogen atom., alkyl group, alkoxy group, etc.; R4 denotes a hydrogen atom., alkyl group, aralkyl group, aryl group, etc.; R5 denotes a hydrogen atom., halogen atom., nitro group, cyano group; R9, R10 respectively denote an alkyl group of 1W12C, aralkyl group or aryl group of 7W20C; R11 denotes an alkyl group of 1W12C, aralkyl group or aryl group of 7W20C, respectively. The stable electric charge photosensitive layer having less fluctuation in sensitivity is thereby obtd.
