A flexible wire material 8 connected with an actuator 7b of an emergency stop switch 7 of an object machine 1 is distributed in a state of surrounding the machine 1, and a turning part of the wire material 8 is supported by a pulley 11. When the wire material 8 is pulled, the actuator 7b is driven to turn on the emergency stop switch 7, whereby the object machine 1 is urgently stopped. By supporting the turning part of the wire material 8 by the pulley 11, the frictional resistance in pulling the wire material 8 is reduced, and the wire material 8 can be smoothly moved, which secures the operation.
