Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an antibacterial effect by baking a substrate bake layer on the surface of a raw metal sheet, applying and baking the glaze containing a glass material, a pigment, and an antibacterial agent on the substrate bake layer to form a decorative bake layer, and setting the grain size of the antibacterial agent larger than that of the pigment.
SOLUTION: A substrate chemical is applied and baked on the surface of a raw metal sheet 1 to form a substrate bake layer 2, and the glaze containing a glass material 9, a pigment 8, and an antibacterial agent 7 is applied and baked on the substrate bake layer 2 to form a decorative bake layer 6. The grain size of the pigment 8 is set to 3 μm, the grain size of the antibacterial agent 7 is set to about 15-20 μm which is larger than that of the pigment 8, and 4 wt.% or below is contained in the glaze. The glass material 9, pigment 8, and antibacterial agent 7 are fixed at the thickness of about 140 μm on the surface of the substrate bake layer 2. Since the grain size of the antibacterial agent 7 is larger than that of the pigment 8, the antibacterial agent 7 is exposed on the decorative design surface of the decorative bake layer 6, thus the surface area of the antibacterial agent 7 is increased, and an antibacterial effect can be increased.
