Abstract:
To provide an engine system which can effectively process condensed water generated by an intercooler.SOLUTION: An engine system includes: a turbocharger 17; an intercooler 19 disposed at the downstream of a compressor 18 in an intake passage 16; a throttle 20 disposed at the downstream of the intercooler 19; a low pressure EGR device 35 which reflows a part of exhaust gas that has passed through a turbine 23 to the upstream of the compressor 18 in the intake passage 16; a storage part 41 which communicates with the intercooler 19 to store condensed water generated by the intercooler 19; a supply passage 43 which is configured to supply the condensed water stored in the storage part 41 to the downstream of the throttle 20 in the intake passage 16; a supply valve 45 which is disposed in the supply passage 43 and can change a passage cross sectional area of the supply passage 43; and a control device 50 which controls the supply valve 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
