PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solidify a sludge and to remove malodor at the same time by suspending a deodorizing solidifying material in water to form a slurry and mixing the slurry with a sludge.
SOLUTION: The deodorizing and solidifying material with which cement and an acid anhydride are mixed or with which cement, an acid anhydride and gypsum are mixed, is suspended in the water to form the slurry, and the slurry is mixed with the sludge under a low pressure of ≤10 kgf/cm2 for example. At this time, the acid anhydride is kept in a particle size of ≤5% as 2 mm mesh residual. And, the mixed slurry of the acid anhydride and the gypsum is added to the sludge, thereafter the cement may be mixed. And, an injection piping is inserted into a deep part of the sludge, and the deodorizing solidifying material slurry is injected under a high pressure of ≥100 kgf/cm2 for example, through the injection piping to solidify the sludge over a wide range till the deep part. The acid anhydride is kept in a particle size of ≤5% as 425 μm mesh residual. In this way, the malodor of the sludge that has many org. components is effectively removed and the sludge is solidified.
